TIMES & BARS
Early Check-In will run daytime on Hogmanay and we'll post an update about this so you can avoid evening queues and wheech into the event! Venue opens from 7.45pm. Event ends, music finishes at 1am. Bars take last orders at 12.30am, close at 12.45am. There are 2 ballrooms, 2 bars between ballrooms and a full bar in the front ballroom!

DRESS
Highland dress / glamorous party attire is perfect; ballgowns are absolutely in keeping with the style of the occasion - as are tiaras! Kilt wearers: no sgian dubhs allowed in the Assembly Rooms, sorry.

CEILIDH DANCING
The dances will be 'called' - in other words, you'll be given instructions to help with the steps if unfamiliar, in the early stages of the evening.

SEATING
This is predominantly a standing event. Seating is limited at the event - given the size of the venue and the numbers attending.
We advise arriving early if you wish to get a seat.

VIP
VIP Lounge: there are two elegant Drawing Rooms exclusively for VIP ticket holders. You'll have a different colour-coded wristband for access all evening to one of these (not both) which you must retain at all times.

UNDER 18s & KIDS
Event is open to all, including under 18s, but anyone under that must be with an adult at all times. No discount in price, sorry. Please advise us of children in your party.

FOOD
Other than advertised nibbles or tastings, no food is available, sorry, due to licencing restrictions

AFTER PARTY
Ticket includes free entry to our after party at Shanghai Nightclub at Le Monde Hotel on George Street. You must be wearing your Snow Ball wristband to gain entry. Subject to the nightclub's availability and capacity.

LIMITED CAPACITY
After the event is marked as Sold Out, we have zero tickets left, sorry.

ENTRY & RE-ADMISSION
Entry only permitted on production of your barcoded, individually-numbered wristband ticket at the Welcome Desk. Children under 18 must be accompanied by an adult. If you leave the venue, perhaps to watch fireworks, you must retain your ticket for readmission. To gain entry to your VIP Lounge at any time you must have your VIP wristband.

SAFETY & COMFORT
The event has a wonderful atmosphere and perfect safety record. A full security team will be on duty. We reserve the right to refuse admission to ticket holders who arrive at the event in an unacceptable condition. Any guests who behave in an anti-social manner will be asked to leave. Guests' bags, jackets etc., will be searched / screened / scanned on arrival for security purposes. No alcohol is permitted; licence law is strict and any found will be confiscated and entry may be denied. Water is available free at water points.

THE LEGAL BIT

Artists billed may be subject to change; no refunds or exchanges will be given if line-up changes. Refunds will only be made if there's a full event cancellation, when refunds will be in made in full excepting the booking fee which is non refundable. As a condition of sale, ticket holders consent to being filmed and / or photographed at the event. Organisers are unable to accept liability for personal damage, losses or injuries sustained at this event including damage and losses to property or unforeseeable actions of other patrons. Lost property: we do our best and publicise on Facebook after the event any items found.

COVID  POLICY

Hopefully Covid will not be a problem this Hogmanay. Should it be an issue, we'll publish info here, and on Facebook, about anything you'll need for entry, if there are requirements, nearer the event date. We will follow prevailing Scottish Government law. We will do all we can to create a safe environment. Nothing should impede your enjoyment of the events - and we hope you will be reassured by our commitment to your safety.
